Sacred Creation & Abundance
Let the life within you take form
There comes a point in the journey home when remembering is no longer enough. What we have found within us begins to ask for a life. A truth wants to be spoken. An image wants to be made. A way of loving, working, or living that once seemed impossible begins to feel like our own.
We may have spent years trying to become what would be valued: choosing the sensible path, hiding a tender gift, shaping our words around what others could receive. Some of these adaptations helped us belong. They may also have kept us at a distance from what most wanted to move through us.
As we welcome those parts of ourselves back, expression becomes possible again. The imagination we set aside, the questions that would not leave us alone, the peculiar combination of experiences and gifts that could belong to no one else—all of it can begin to participate in our lives.
To me, this is sacred creation. The Creator’s life is not expressed in only one form. It moves through the singular way each of us perceives, loves, makes, and contributes. Your expression need not resemble anyone else’s to be worthy of being brought into the world. Its particularity is part of its beauty.
Creating might mean writing a book or building a business. It might mean growing food, tending a home, raising a child, shaping a community, or finding a more honest way to speak with the people you love. What matters is the relationship from which the action arises. We can make something to prove that we are enough, or we can make it because something alive within us is ready to be shared.
I know how easily the desire to create can become another demand to perform. We look at what others are doing, calculate whether our work will be received, and try to perfect an idea before we have even allowed it to breathe. But creation asks us to participate before we know the outcome. It asks for attention, courage, practice, and the willingness to let a first attempt be a beginning.
This is where abundance enters the conversation.
Look at the living world: seeds becoming fruit, roots sharing ground with other roots, water moving through places that need it. Creation has a generative nature. Life makes more life. When we come into a fuller relationship with the Creator and with our own nature, we may find ourselves more able to notice possibilities, receive support, form nourishing connections, and offer what is ours to offer. There can be a greater sense of flow because less of our energy is spent holding ourselves apart from life.
Abundance can include money and the practical resources that make a life sustainable. It can also appear as time, health, friendship, beauty, meaningful work, and the freedom to give and receive. It does not require us to pretend that circumstances are easy, or that everyone has the same opportunities. Nor is a difficult season evidence that someone has failed to align. Real abundance makes room for honest needs, wise choices, and the care of others.
Returning to wholeness may change our relationship with receiving. We might become able to ask for help, to accept fair payment for our work, to rest when we need to, or to recognize an opportunity that once felt beyond us. We may also learn that giving from fullness feels different from giving in the hope that we will finally be loved.
The movement is reciprocal. We receive from life, and we allow life to receive from us. What comes through one person can nourish another in ways neither could have planned. This is one way abundance becomes visible: in the circulation of care, resources, ideas, and creative work.
An invitation to create:
Take a moment to ask yourself:
What part of me has been waiting for permission to express itself?
What would I make, offer, or begin if I did not first have to prove its worth?
What support would help me take one honest step?
Choose a step small enough to take this week. Write a paragraph. Share an idea with someone you trust. Set aside time for the work. Ask for what you need. Let the action be real, even if it is still imperfect.
You are here as a unique expression of the Creator. As you grow more at home in yourself, you can allow that expression to take form—and join the abundant, ongoing work of life creating through life.
